Stampin' Blends are artist-quality alcohol markers. An alcohol marker contains an alcohol-based fluid and dye ink. The fluid floats the dye ink onto the paper and then the alcohol evaporates so, instead of the paper fibres swelling (like water-based markers), the ink sits on the surface of the fibres. That means that the ink and fluid of the alcohol marker soaks through the paper, rather than soaking in, which allows for blending and saturating areas with colour without the paper deteriorating and tearing.

Stampin' Blends

Features of Stampin' Blends:

  • The Stampin' Blends have a square barrel, so they don't roll off your crafting area. Store your Stampin' Blends horizontally for even distribution of ink through out the barrel.
  • They have dual tips: one end is a brush nib that is great for colouring large areas and the opposite end has a fine tip for precision colouring. To help identify the ends, there is an image printed on the side of the barrel plus a wide line for the brush nib and thin line for the fine tip.
  • The lids of the Stampin' Blends have a press-fit seal and should click when correctly seated. Replace lids immediately after using your Stampin' Blend to prevent evaporation and drying out.
  • Rich, saturated, smooth colour that is easy to use and blend... everyone can feel like an artist!

Tips for using the Stampin' Blends:

  1. Prepare work surface with Grid Paper or scrap paper to absorb excess ink. The saturated colour can seep through your card stock.
  2. Stamp your line-art image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Whisper White or Whisper White Thick card stock. Ensure ink is completely dry before colouring with Stampin' Blends. Optional: use the Heat Tool to dry image immediately.
