This month I received two beautiful cards from fellow demonstrators using this amazing bundle. Both cards use the tree die from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits as silhouettes. In fact, both cards are very similar in their design, but strikingly different in their finish. This serene card is from Delwyn Karanikolaou...

Delwyn has created a pretty background by masking a circle for the moon then gently sponging blues over the Whisper White card stock, concentrating the ink on the edges. The tree and birds, die-cut from Basic Black card stock, make a stark contrast on this soft backdrop.

In contrast, this vibrant card by Jackie Noble, which has quite a similar layout, has a stunning background in bright pinks, oranges and yellows...

Jackie started with Watercolor Paper for her background, used an Aqua Painter to add wash of yellow, then followed with stamping in pinks, oranges and yellows while everything was still very wet. This background has a lovely bright and blended look. The card is finished with an Elegant Eggplant die-cut tree and accents in Gold Foil and Gold Designer Acetate.
