For those family members that are not 'cardies', I made up some of my favourite cards from the past few months and gave them and some envelopes as a Christmas gift. This is the box that I made to put them in.

Pull-up Treat Gift Box for Cards
Stamps: Priceless (116402). Card/Paper: Whisper White (106549), Chocolate Chip (108599), Ruby Red (106572), Candy Lane DSP (113980). Ink: Ruby Red (102259), VersaMark (102283). Accessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (109051), White Embossing Powder (109132). Tools: Scallop Circle Punch (109043). Horizontal Slot Punch (105089), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).

This box is based on a pull-up treat holder but, instead of a pouch, it is a thin box. You don't undo the ribbon at the top, but pull it up and out pops the cards (or anything else you put in there).

Pull-up Treat Gift Box for Cards Open

Inside are six cards, two each of three different designs, plus matching envelopes. I have found this to be a great way of packaging cards and adds a bit of flair to the gift. I have stamped this box using stamps from Life Definitions ("just because" is a good reason for giving cards!) and Priceless stamp sets.

Because...

In January we will be making Valentines Pull-up Treat Holders for chocolate bars using this stamp set but, instead of flowers, we will use the heart image from Priceless.
