This card is a recreation of Pam Staples birthday card. I love her creation and it was so much fun to make. I especially loved getting messy with the spattered background...
For my card's background I loaded an Aqua Painter with Tempting Turquoise ink and then splashed it across some Whisper White card stock. I repeated this with Old Olive ink. To get some shine, I gave the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush a squeeze so the brush was full of shimmer and splattered that across the card too. The finishing touches of Silver Metallic Thread and a Silver Basic Metal Button pick up the shimmer from the Wink of Stella and makes the whole card shine.
Those Basic Metal Buttons are on the Retiring List and are still available when I wrote this post. Don't forget to get your favourite birthday stamp sets and accessories from the Retiring List before they're gone.
