On Sunday was the Hamilton Extravaganza, where we shared and created projects featuring products from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. This is the calm before the storm (10 minutes before the doors open)...

All the crafting spaces for our guests are laid out and then we add some small gifts. These are the gifts I created...

Stamps: Birthday Blooms (wood: 140655, clear: 140658). Ink: Lost Lagoon (133644), Pool Party (126982), Mossy Meadow (133645), Pear Pizzazz (131180), Basic Black (140931). Card/Paper: Whisper White (106549), Birthday Bouquet DSP (140557), Watercolor Paper (122959). Accessories: Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags (140578), Whisper White 1/4" Cotton Ribbon (134567), Blushing Bride Sequin Trim (138400). Tools: Ornate Tag Topper Punch (137416), Aqua Painter (103954), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).

I put Easter eggs into the Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags and added a tag, created using the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Birthday Bouquet DSP. These gifts were inspired by Diana Gibbs.

What did everyone create? Here's the five projects that all our guests made at the Hamilton Extravaganza...

In this first project, Christine and Sarah used the Have a Cuppa Product Suite on pages 34-35 of the Occasions Catalogue to create this beautiful gift; complete with enveloped tea bags and a Kit Kat...

Jacque and Andrea taught a fabulous masculine project - a wallet card with a pull-out insert. They used the Going Places Product Suite on pages 38-39 of the Occasions Catalogue...

The Botanical Gardens Product Suite on pages 26-27 of the Occasions Catalogue is a favourite of mine. Bev and Rosie paired this suite with the coordinating Botanicals For You stamp set from Sale-A-Bration to create a centre-step card...

Irene and Rayleen used the Balloon Celebration stamp set and coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch to create this lovely pull-up card. From the front it is unassuming, but pull on the ribbon at the top and you get a lovely surprise...

And the final project was taught by Ruth and myself. We used the Gift Bag Punch Board to create a Diamond Gift Box. It was finished with the Grateful Bunch stamp set, the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch and my favourite designer paper: Birthday Bouquet DSP...

We had a wonderful day sharing our creations with everyone, and the really positive feedback we received was so uplifting!
