All the Stampin' Up! catalogues have beautiful, inspirational photos that you could copy or take design elements for your own projects. I loved the Happy Butterfly card on page 27 of the Occasions Catalogue the moment I saw it, so I recreated it using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterflies Thinlits Dies...

To make this card tall enough for three die-cut butterflies and still look proportionally correct, the finished size of my card is 7" tall by 3-1/2" wide. So the challenge was to create an envelope for this non-standard card - thank goodness for the Envelope Punch Board!
If you look in the table printed on the bed of the Envelope Punch Board you will see my card's measurements: 3-1/2" x 7"...
So I cut a piece of designer paper at 8-5/8" x 8-5/8" and then begun creating my envelope by lining up the edge to the 3" score line at the top of the board. Then all I needed to do was score and punch my way around my designer paper. The Envelope Punch Board is well-designed as it has all the instructions on how to use it printed directly on it.
To coordinate my envelope and card, I picked out the Sahara Sand colour and used the Something Borrowed DSP...
A perfect fit!
