There are couple of ways to use ink to stamp this flower and get the varying shades and detail. One way is to use three shades of ink for the flower head. For example: Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo.

What about using ONE stamp pad? Here's how I created the depth of colour on this card using only Coastal Cabana ink for the flower and Pistachio Pudding ink for the stem...

1. Ink the smallest detailed flower stamp in Coastal Cabana and stamp on Whisper White card stock.
2. Ink the largest detailed flower stamp in Coastal Cabana, stamp off on scrap paper and stamp over the first flower image.
3. Ink the solid flower stamp in Coastal Cabana, stamp off twice on scrap paper and stamp over the first two flower images.
4. Ink the detailed stem in Pistachio Pudding and stamp under the flower image.
5. Ink the solid stem in Pistachio Pudding, stamp off on scrap paper and stamp over the stem image.
