Yesterday was our Christmas break up for MOPS (Mother's of Pre-schoolers). MOPS is a fantastic idea, which started in America, and has had groups in New Zealand for more than ten years. Basically it is a place where mothers of pre-schoolers can have their children looked after for a morning while mums have some timeout to catch up with others, do some craft, and have discussions about life, family and kids. If you want to know more about MOPS, click HERE to check out the New Zealand MOPS website, or HERE to check out the MOPS International website.
Anyhow, I digress. As I was saying, yesterday was our Christmas breakup and the committee wanted to give out gifts to all the MOPS mums. So I made 36 triangle boxes and the other members of the committee made truffles to fill them. The MOPS mums loved the boxes and the sweet gift inside.

Stamps: God's Blessings (116364), Tree Trimmings (retired from the Spring Mini Catalogue), Kind Heart (116681), See You Around Jumbo Wheel (109687). Card/Paper: Real Red (106578), Old Olive (106576), Whisper White (106549). Ink: Old Olive (102277), Real Red (103133), Chocolate Chip (100908). Accessories: 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon (109054), 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon (109052). Tools: Horizontal Slot Punch (105089), 1" Circle Punch (109046), 1-1/4" Circle Punch (104403), Stampin' Around Jumbo Handle (103661), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
I wanted to put these up here before the end of November because they use a Christmas stamp set from the Spring Mini, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise!
In addition to the Christmas triangle boxes, I also made 21 Christmas Voucher Cards like the ones we did at our October workshops.

These were filled with cafe vouchers that we gave to all the volunteers that look after our children while we are chilling out. It seemed like a good idea when I agreed to do this. However, when I went to start making them, I realised that I needed 84 scallop embellishments!!! My 8-year-old daughter helped me out there and we had a lovely afternoon glittering them all.
