Here's another in-depth look at one of our new In Colors... Blackberry Bliss.

This card was inspired by a card by Jaydee. The colour-blocked panel on the card front compares Blackberry Bliss with three other current Stampin' Up! colours...
Blackberry Bliss is a full, rich wine-coloured purple that is the darker shade of Perfect Plum (they are monochromatic colours or a Dynamic Duo listed on the Colour Coach). Warmer (less blue) than Elegant Eggplant and deeper than Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss is sumptuous and sure to top many wish lists.
This card also features a new, funky stamp set in the 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue... Groovy Love, available in wood-mount and clear-mount.

This card was inspired by Brandy's beautiful Blended Blooms card. Spot the new product... Stampin' Blendabilities! So what makes Blendabilites different? Blendabilities are alcohol-based markers, which means that the colour is suspended in alcohol instead of water, such as Stampin' Write Markers. This allows you to colour your card stock smoothly, repeatedly, blending to create a lovely intense finish.
Blendabilites come in a three-pack of light, medium and dark shades of the same colour, making shading and colouring for depth easy. For this card I stamped the lovely Blended Bloom using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (fab-u-lous!) and then used Coastal Cabana Blendabilities. I began with the darkest shade marker for the shadows and then used the medium. I used a circular motion to colour over the top of the darker colour, blending outwards until the lines disappeared. Then finally, I coloured with the lightest colour.
