On Sunday we had our first Hamilton Extravaganza for this year. We celebrated the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration by creating five gorgeous projects using fun, new products and techniques. Before I share the projects we made, here's some snapshots from the day. The first is the hall, all set up and ready for our guests to arrive...

Everyone that attended went into the draw for one of these fabulous prizes...

I made all my guests these cute little wrapped chocolates using the Happy Congratulations stamp set...

The tag was made using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and a 1-1/4" wide piece of Midnight Muse card stock. The names where written using the White Stampin' Chalk Marker. These two were for my daughters, who helped out on the day.

And here's the five amazing projects that were taught throughout the day. The first is Jacque and Shona's masculine file folder card featuring the Hello, Sailor stamp set (page 24, Occasions Catalogue), Hardwood background stamp (page 37), Gold Baker's Twine (page 24), and the Banner Punch (Sale-A-Bration).

Alicia and Andrea taught us how to make this box card using products from the Kaleidoscope Suite (page 27, Occasions Catalogue). On the inside they tucked tags made using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and Angled Tag Topper Punch (page 35).

Bev and Christine wowed everyone with their iris card using the Peaceful Petals and Peachy Keen stamp sets (pages 18 and 20, Occasions Catalogue), Arrows embossing folder (page 27), and Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-A-Bration).

Rayleen and Irene's very beautiful card-in-a-box featured three bundles: Petite Petals (page 33, Occasions Catalogue), Flower Shop and Label Love. These are a great way to purchase coordinating stamp sets and punches with a 15% discount!

And finally, Kirstie and I showcased the Spiral Flower Die and Fringe Scissors (pages 31-32, Occasions Catalogue) and taught everyone how to make two different flowers. We used the flowers to decorate a small wreath (but they can also be used on cards, boxes, frames, scrapbooking pages, ...).
