I have been playing with the "transferred embossing" technique that I showed everyone who attended my workshops this month.

I tried a few of the embossing powders I have on hand and applied the images to a piece of calico fabric. I found that Cherry Cobbler embossing powder has a pink tone when you heat set it onto fabric. It looks like a darker shade of Rose Red. Also, I discovered that you can iron images on top of other images. To see what I mean, check out this card...

I first stamped the stem image with VersaMark ink on wax paper, added black embossing powder and heat set it. I then placed the embossed image onto a piece of calico fabric (with the embossing side down) and ironed it to transfer the stem image from the wax paper onto the fabric. I repeated this process by stamping the flower head and using Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, heat setting, and then ironing it on top of the stem. And finally the flower head detail using black embossing powder.
