On Sunday we held our annual Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza, which was a whole day of crafting and a whole lot of fun! The day started early for the demonstrators who were teaching... setting up the hall, arranging displays and preparing to teach our five gorgeous Christmas projects. On each of the tables were place settings for our guests. These are what my guests received...

I found some cute wooden pegs at a local craft shop and covered them with Gingham Garden Washi Tape and topped each peg with a Daffodil Delight rolled rose dipped in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. On the back of the pegs I adhered a strip of magnet so they can be used on a fridge (or similar appliance) to hold notes or a photo.

Throughout the day there were prize draws and the prizes were gifts donated by the demonstrators. Here's a selection of what was given out...

My donation was the Mini Muslin Bag with the Christmas Star stamped on the front. Inside was six cards and envelopes stamped in a similar style. We will be making these at my workshops in November...

And finally, to show you what everyone made on Sunday. There were five Christmas projects and each showcased products from the 2013 Holiday Catalogue and Holiday Single Stamps.

This is the project the Kirstie and I taught - it features the new Circle Card Thinlits Die and the Wonderful Blessing stamp along with the very versatile Season of Style DSP Stack and Washi Tape. Oh, and don't forget the coordinated envelope using the Envelope Liners Framelits.

Jacque and Shona used the Frosted Finishes Embellishments and Festive Flurry Bundle, which includes the stamp set and coordinating framelits, to make an amazing 3-D bag tag. They also stamped the gift bag and tissue paper to match!

Christine and Dallas showed everyone how to make a double-fronted card. These are great for adding multiple greetings or if you want to share a family photo. They used the pretty Joyful Christmas stamp set for their project...

And lastly, Bev and Alicia used the Winter Frost Specialty DSP (with the lovely foil designs) and Silver 1/8" Ribbon to create this fun photo-step card. When you open the "present" on the front, it opens like a concertina where you can put photos or special messages. Inside is the "love" Expressions Thinlits Die, which is a nice message for anyone!
