Pistachio Pudding

Pistachio Pudding is a subtle, minty green that is cooler (less yellow) than Old Olive and less saturated (lighter) than Wild Wasabi. It is the dusty, green counterpart to the more-blue Pool Party.

This card also features a fabulous new stamp set and hardware accessory from the 2013-3014 Annual Catalogue...

Pistachio Pudding

I have two projects to show you that showcase Pistachio Pudding. The first is a ring I made using the new Simply Pressed Clay...

Pistachio Pudding Clay Blossom Ring

The Simply Pressed Clay is a white moulding clay that you can use to create your own embellishments. Once moulded, it air dries - simple! I used the Blossoms Clay Mold to mould the clay for my fun, flower ring.

Simply Pressed Clay and Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds
Simply Pressed Clay (130685) - $14.50
Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds (131272) - $16.95

You can use the clay as is or add colour by kneading in ink before moulding. Alternatively you can colour after it has dried with a dauber or markers. For my ring I created the blossom using the white, uncoloured clay then, once it was dry, I painted it with a mixture of Crystal Effects and Pistachio Pudding ink. This process gives it the look of a ceramic glaze.

Here's the clay again, this time on a monochromatic card in Pistachio Pudding...

Pistachio Pudding Card

This card was made by Lisa Bullock and I received as part of a swap. Isn't it gorgeous! And here's the clay flower on her card...

Pistachio Pudding Card

This glittery embellishment was made by dipping a small ball of clay in Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter, then pressing it into the mould. Love it!
