The 2013-2014 Annual Catalogue was released today, and I love it from front to back. It's fun and quirky cover, the witty and encouraging commentaries throughout the pages, the inspirational display of colours and products, and all those gorgeous new stamps and fabulous co-ordinating accessories. What's not to love?

With the release of the Annual Catalogue we have our newly arranged colour collections, with six returning colours (Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz and Island Indigo) and three brand new colours (Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky and Smoky Slate)...

And of course, we have five new In Colors that you are sure to fall in love with. Think of ice cream and marshmallows...

Here's a fun project that was inspired by Sophie Zadeh's presentation at the South Pacific Stampin' Up! Convention. I used white acrylic paint, watered it down so it was a thick, pouring consistency, then added ink from our new In Color range. Once it was well mixed, I poured the paint mixture into a clean bottle to coat the inside, tipping the bottle to get a good coverage. When I was happy with the finished result (either with unfinished drips or fully coated), I poured out the excess paint and left them to dry...

From left to right across the back there is Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe, and Baked Brown Sugar down in front.

Whilst they aren't true to the ink colours, as the white acrylic paint makes them softer and more pastel, it does give you a good idea on how sweet these new In Colors are.
