I found a punch art bluebird on Rochelle Gould's website, which I though was adorable. It uses a large circle punch that we don't have in our Australia/New Zealand catalogue. so I decided to have a go making it using the punches I have available. I started off making one bird for the front of a notepad I was covering. When I decided to add the "friendship" stamp to the bottom of the cover I thought that one little bird looked lonely, so gave him a friend! I have had so many comments about this that I thought I had better post a picture.

Bluebirds Altered Notepad

Stamps: Wonderful Words (retired). Card/Paper: Pacific Point (116202), Barely Banana (106563), Chocolate Chip (108599), Old Olive (106576), Pumpkin Pie (108601). Ink: Chocolate Chip (100908), VersaMark (102283). Accessories: Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie Flower Brads (112583). Tools: Daubers (102892), Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (100082), 1-3/8" Circle Punch (104401), Scallop Circle Punch (109043), Crimper (101618), Dimensionals (104430).

For the bluebirds, I used Pacific Point card and daubered around the edges. As yet, I don't have the Pacific Point stamp pad so I used my Versamark stamp pad. The daubering gave definition around each piece of the assembled bird as it is all the same colour.

To add a bit more colour to the cover, I used the flower brads from the Spring Mini Catalogue. Don't forget that these and the other items in the Spring Mini Catalogue are only available until the end of next month.
