I am currently having a great time at Stampin' Up!'s annual Convention in Brisbane. Before I left I made these business card holders for my room mates using Stampin' Up! fabric...
The tutorial for these easy-to-make business card holders can be found by clicking HERE. I made a few adjustments to the fabric sizes:
Designer Fabric from left to right: Comfort Cafe, Floral District, Twitterpated and Timeless Portrait
Two fabric pieces cut 6-1/4" x 5-1/4" (one is the lining, one the outside)
Two fabric pieces cut 3" x 5-1/4" (for the inside pockets)
One fusible fleece or batting piece cut 6-1/4" x 5-1/4"
To close them I used a small hair elastic and a Basic Black button (from the Neutrals Designer Buttons pack).
These are super cute and in addition to holding business cards, they can also fit Tic Tacs, gum and, at a squeeze, Peanut Slabs (but not all at the same time!). I hope my friends at Convention like this little gift and are enjoying the surprise inside!
Want to know what is happening at Convention and share my experiences there? Then go to the Creative Stamping Facebook page and click on the "Like" button, and when I have some time and an internet connection, I will post some updates and photos there.
