I really enjoy making Mothers Day cards, you can be over-the-top pretty and feminine with flowers, butterflies, ribbons, lace pearls... Where I come unstuck is what to write inside - I have trouble finding the right words. Do you have trouble with what to write inside your handmade cards? Here's some lovely Mothers Day sayings and quotes to help you out this year...
Your arms were always open when I needed a hug.
Your heart understood when I needed a friend.
Your gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson.
Your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly. - Sarah Malin

When I was a kid, you did so much to make sure I had the best life you could possibly give me. And even though I'm all grown up now, I know that no matter where I am, what's going on, or how old I get, I'll still always have your love. I hope you know you'll always have mine, too. - Unknown
You are an inspiration, a great friend and by far the best mum any one can ask for. - Unknown
