We had an all-day fundraiser for cancer research on Sunday at Crafters Anonymous (in conjunction with Australia's Biggest Morning Tea). The theme was cupcakes and chocolate - yum! It was a fabulous day where 30+ ladies crafted and socialised online. One of the activities was a recipe challenge, which is where you get a list of supplies to create with. Your finished creation could be a card, 3D item, scrapbooking page, etc. My friend Dee ran it on the day, and this is what she cleverly listed for the challenge...
Ingredients:
Plain cardstock
Patterned DSP
Cutting Die or template
Adhesive of your choice

Throw all of the above ingredients into your €œmixing bowl". Stir until happy with your mixture. You can now add your €œicing".
Icing Ingredients:
One Sentiment
Pearl
Button
Lace/Ribbon
Toothpick
Oh, you should have heard the howls of protest over the toothpick! I loved the challenge and thought that the addition of a toothpick to your project made you think outside the square! Here's my challenge entry...

It's a bunting for the top of a cake for a new baby. Toothpicks were too short, so I substituted them for skewers.
I made this to match a baby card I recently made using the Baby Prints stamp set from the Autumn-Winter Mini.
