Well I got the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, and I really love it, especially with the watercolour pencils and glitter. Here are two cards that I created for my niece's birthdays at the end of September. The large paper clips with the Elmo and ladybird punch art perched on the top are bookmarks. Since I had made these bookmarks for their birthdays I decided to incorporate it into the cards - not as easy as I thought! However I did like the finished product and when you remove the bookmarks, the cards still look good.

This one is for my niece who turned three. I thought she would love the Elmo bookmark. I found Elmo on Dawn's website a long time ago and have been waiting for the right project to use him. I have modified what Dawn has in her instructions and used Riding Hood Red and Pumpkin Pie. To tie the card to the bookmark, I carried over the Pumpkin Pie and used paper from Washington Apple DSP pack. The only thing that I think could be better is that I used some old white flower brads, when I think the Pumpkin Pie flower brads from the Spring Mini Catalogue would have looked better.

This second card is for my other niece, who turned five a week later. I think the ladybird from Chic 'n Scratch is really cute. Again I have changed the red to Riding Hood Red (I'm going to miss this colour when it leaves next year), and sat her on a Kiwi Kiss leaf. My daughters really love her! Again I let the colours in the bookmark lead the choices I made for the card. This time I got out the Candy Lane DSP and mixed it with Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss - truely an In Color card!
