When you pull off the band the card 'springs' open and you get...
I had fun with these soft autumn colours and wanted to make a feature of one of the leaves on the card's band. So I stamped a leaf, cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals...
To get the washed, watercolour-effect on the leaf I first coloured the stamp using Old Olive and Cajun Craze markers, spritzed it with a light mist of water and then stamped. The water makes the colours blend and softens the stamped image. The more you wet your stamp, the more washed-out the stamped image will be.
