This Christmas card is a culmination of a number of colours, cards and embellishments I had on my stamping desk when I made it... the doily "snow flake" and Something For Christmas stamp is from my Christmas petal card and the non-traditional Christmas colours were from my father-in-law's telescoping birthday card.
Did you notice the background...
Using the Doily Triple Layer Punch, I punched out doilies in Island Indigo and adhered them on the same colour to create a lovely textured background. It also continues the "doily-theme" from snowflake at the top left corner across the card.
The triple layer punches are really fun to use - just ask all those who attended the November Workshops, they loved them! Check them out on page 151 of the catalogue. If you have questions or want a demonstration on how to use them, then don't hesitate to contact me.
