I had a couple of birthdays to make cards for this month, so I played with the Designer Frames Embossing Folders (see page 157 of the Idea Book & Catalogue). Inspired by a card created by Kerry Bunting, this is one of the cards I made...

It's a bit hard to see the details on the black card stock in this photo, so here's a close up...

Along with the embossing frames, I have also been playing with rolled roses. Aren't they just the cutest! These ones are in Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake, topped off wth a pearl.

I loved making this card, and had a second birthday to create for, so I made another this time in monochromatic purples...

This colour is much easier to photograph and you can see the embossed frame and elements of the card much better.

These birthday cards inspired the cute little Thank You cards for this month, but instead of the rectangular frame I used the oval one for those.
