With the release of the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue we get five new colours added to the standard colour palette. These exciting new colours are called the In Colours.

One of the new In Colors is Lucky Limeade - a gorgeous grass-green. Let's compare this new colour with similar colours from our current collections...

As you can see, Lucky Limeade (third from the left) is a richer, more saturated green than Certainly Celery and Pear Pizzazz, though not as dark as Old Olive.
This is my first Christmas card for this year, and it's only fitting that I try out a colour combination from the new In Colors. This traditional-coloured Christmas card puts Lucky Limeade, Riding Hood Red and Perfect Plum together, with the new stamp set Merry & Type...

To colour the lovely baubles of the Merry & Type stamp set, I heat embossed the image using white embossing powder on watercolour paper and spritz'ed it with water. I then cut out the images and paper-pieced them onto another one embossed on Riding Hood Red...
Lucky Limeade is such a fresh colour and going to be great as Christmas rolls around.
