Yet another card using the faux-silk effect! This one is for my nephew's 1st birthday, which is tomorrow.

Ink: Basic Black (101179), Real Red (103133), Brilliant Blue (100691), Yoyo Yellow (102717). Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (102023). This time, instead of white tissue paper, I used a blue that was almost the same shade as Brilliant Blue. I used a star Stampin' Wheel (retired) to create the "space scene" and then mixed this with Read Red and Yoyo Yellow. The Bold Brights colour family is great for kids' cards. I mounted the crushed tissue on white as I found that it made it brighter than if I mounted it on blue card. If you don't turn the tissue over the edges and choose to trim it, I would suggest you sponge or dauber the edges of the exposed white card.
