I made a birthday card for my sister-in-law last week which was inspired by the gorgeous colour combination over at Just Add Ink...
And here is my card...

Card/Paper: Soft Suede (119982), Rose Red (108613), Regal Rose (108612), Very Vanilla (106550). Ink: Early Espresso (119670), Soft Suede (115657), Crumb Cake (121030), Rose Red (101778). Accessories: Early Espresso 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (119961), Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (116806), Basic Pearls (119247). Tools: Top Note Bigz Die (113463), Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976), Sizzix Big Shot (113439), 2" x 1-3/8" Oval Punch (119859), Sponge Daubers (102892), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430). Non-SU!: Isopropyl Alcohol.
There are so many yummy techniques in this card...
For the Vintage Vogue flowers, I inked the flowers in Crumb Cake first, rocked the stamp on the Soft Suede stamp pad, then stamped and cut the flowers out. This gave them a lovely gradiated colour. I used the same Rock and Roll Technique for the Rose Red flower and the sentiment, but that time I inked up in Rose Red first and rocked the stamp on the Soft Suede stamp pad.
The Very Vintage image was wheeled in Early Espresso onto a cut-down Soft Suede Top Note and my stamped flowers glued onto it. It was matted onto a Rose Red Top Note and whole lot put through the Big Shot inside Square Lattice embossing folder. We used this embossing technique in the February workshops.

To finish the card, I daubered all the card stock edges in Crumb Cake and/or Soft Suede, sprayed shimmer mist on the Rose Red flower and Soft Suede card stock, and added pearls and ribbon.
I love this colour combination and the soft, delicate look of this card, with just a touch of shine!
