It is a fine line to walk with hand-made gifts and presents. I want to pop them up here but not before giving them. Most of the time I "publish" them after the occasion, however Christmas is over so quickly and it seems a bit funny to put up Christmas cards after the fact!
So, I am hoping that none of my family are reading this right now. If you are... stop here and check back after Christmas!!!
These are the little Christmas cards that I made for the adults in our family...
Card/Paper: Real Red (106578), Old Olive (106576), Whisper White (106549). Ink: Real Red (103133), Old Olive (102277). Accessories: 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon (119251), White uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen (105021). Tools: Petals-a-Plenty Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (116824), Sizzix Big Shot (113439), Sponge Daubers (102892), Mini Glue Dots (103683).
The wreath on the front is woven ribbon (Real Red 1/8" Taffeta), isn't it adorable! I got the inspiration for this card from Petronela and followed a great instructional video on Ribbon Weaving by En-May.
I really love this cute little card. I say little, because they are quite little. They are about 5 cm x 7.5 cm and fit inside the die-cut from the Scallop Envelope die...
Stamps: To & From Tag (wood: 121598), Delightful Decorations (wood: 121502). Card/Paper: Real Red (106578), Whisper White (106549), Whisper White C6 Envelopes (106588). Ink: Real Red (103133). Accessories: Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker (100079). Tools: Extra-Large Tag Punch (119866), Large Tag Punch (119876), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
The envelope is closed by tucking it under the gift tag, which is held on with a single dimensional near the bottom. This is a great way of combining Christmas cards and gift tags.
For the kids' presents I made Owl Christmas Tags, similar to the ones that we made in the November Workshop...
For extended family I did some baking... Chocolate Hazelnut Coffee Truffles and Pistachio & Apricot Biscotti. Rather decadent and, thankfully, after packing them into cellophane bags there wasn't much left, so not too much indulging!
I popped the cellophane bags of goodies in these altered paper bags...

Accessories: Old Olive 1-1/4 Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (115618), Linen Thread (104199), Basic Rhinestone Jewels (119246). I did make some Christmas cards that I sent to friends and family, but only just realised that I didn't photograph them. Oh well.
I hope you all have a lovely relaxing Christmas with whoever you celebrate it with.
