There are so many ideas in the Stampin' Up! catalogues, in fact, my "addiction" to Stampin' Up! began when I purchased an Idea Book & Catalogue just for the pictures!
Each page of the Idea Book & Catalogue has a number of cards and projects that can inspire your own creations. But did you know that Stampin' Up! also provides a list of stamps and supplies that were used to create them?

My card is not a copy of the one in the catalogue. I have used the layout and re-arranged the elements from the original card. I used a different stamp set and changed the accent colour from Wild Wasabi to Pretty In Pink.
I love this style of card - distressed and textured, yet soft and feminine. The card stock is daubered in Crumb Cake (which is a great colour for distressing and for softening the edges), the Chocolate Chip card is Faux-Suede and torn, and I have sanded the Vintage Wallpaper embossing on the Designer Paper and rolled the edge. The feminine touches are the pink flowers, Scallop Trim border (which gives a "lacy" touch) and a small pearl in the centre of the pink flower brad.
