About the month ago I put up a picture of the birthday card that Miss-Nine made for her sister's birthday. At the end of the post I teased you by saying that I had made a card for my daughter but did not want to post it yet as it has a lovely technique that I planned to use for a workshop. Well here is the promised card...

Sophie's Birthday Card

Stamps: Sincere Salutations (116416). Card/Paper: Rich Razzleberry (119981), Kiwi Kiss (116204), Whisper White (106549). Ink: Rich Razzleberry (115658), Tempting Turquoise (100814). Accessories: Tempting Turquoise Marker (100058), Kiwi Kiss button (Button Bouquet: 112092). Tools: Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder (117335), Sizzix Big Shot (113439), Eyelet Border Punch (1013692), Color Spritzer (107066), Stamping Sponges (101610), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).

Once again, the colour of this card was inspired by the colour challenge from Just Add Ink #22. But it wasn't finished in time for the challenge deadline. This is not a colour combination that I would usually put together, but I really love it and have had a lot of great comments about it.

In the May workshops we created gorgeous cards using the Fresh Cut Notes. Well, the sponged flowers on this card were created by using the Fresh Cut Notes as a stencil. You can sponge them...

July Thank You Cards

Or you can use the spritzer through the stencil, which is what I did on the inside of the card and envelope front...

July Thank You Cards

Because the card and the colour scheme was such a success, I decided to include a variation of this card in the August workshop. Come along and play with some way-cool Stampin' Up! tools and learn a new technique or two.
