To create this greeting card, start with Basic White Thick card base and add two 2.5 cm (1") strips of floral patterned paper from the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper pack to the front of the card; one on the left edge and one on the right edge.  Adhere a 7 cm (2-3/4") wide piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock in the middle of the card front.

Cut a 6.5 cm (2-1/2") wide piece of Basic White cardstock and stamp the beautiful ladies from the Lifelong Friends stamp set in the middle with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Stamp the cluster of flowers all along the bottom edge of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Here is the fun part: colour the flowers in the ladies' baskets and the ones under their feet with Watercolor Pencils, picking out the colours from the patterned paper on the card front.  I used Melon Mambo from Assortment 1 and Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana from Assortment 2.

When you have finished colouring these bright accents, add the panel with Stampin' Dimensionals onto the Shy Shamrock cardstock on the card front.

Lastly, stamp "Here's to lifelong friends" in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a 6 cm x 1.5 cm (2-1/2" x 1/2") piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and adhere to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

Adding pops of colour to a black-and-white sketched image creates a beautiful greeting card, and it's quick and easy, too!  If you wanted to step this card up a notch, you could colour both ladies and their baskets of flowers and add a scattering of sparkly bling to the card front.  Which finish would you go with—pops of colour or colour the whole image?
