Have you seen the Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes Kit?  It was released this month and I am using the cute, floral-pink gift boxes to adorn my Christmas table this year, instead of Christmas crackers.

The instructions to create these treat boxes come in the kit and are simple to follow.  In fact, I found the boxes very simple to construct and loved that the adhesive was included in the kit.  My tip: fold along all the scored lines before beginning construction.  I also recommend using a Bone Folder to gently curve the top flaps before sticking the boxes together.  It makes it easier to close the box later!

Speaking of closing and opening the box, that too is simple!  The beautiful blossom on the top has a slot along the middle and they slide over each other to close the box.  Then all you need to do is stamp the pretty tag with whatever words you choose and tie it around the cherry blossom on top.  The stamp set included in the kit has these versatile words and images...

I chose "Best Wishes" as it expressed my wishes for those around the Christmas table.  I could have also used "For You", which is so versatile.

So I am all organised with my Cherry Blossom Treat Boxes lined up, and ready to add to the Christmas table this week.  I filled each one with a Lindt chocolate, cute wooden tree decoration, and punny Christmas joke.  By the way, if you need 32 unique festive, dad jokes, just hit me up - haha!
