It's back in stock, just in time for Christmas!  The oh-so-popular Christmas Ornaments Kit arrived back in the online store this week and I am excited to share with you how fun and easy it is to create these beautiful ornaments to adorn your Christmas tree this year.

The Christmas Ornaments Kit includes everything you need to create nine Christmas tree ornaments, three each of three different designs.  Just open the box and start creating!

Christmas Ornaments Kit (164378) - $53.00

The instructions to create these Christmas ornaments come in the kit box and are simple to follow but there is scope to use the included pieces for your own designs. 

All three ornaments begin the same way.  Start by cutting a 45 cm (18") length of gold cord.  Then add a glue dot (included in the kit - yay!) to the bottom of a gold ring, fold the gold cord in half, and thread a loop of gold cord through the ring, securing the loop on the glue dot.  Then add a second glue dot to the top of the gold ring and tie a knot with the ends of the gold cord over the glue dot.  The two ends of the gold cord will now span the diameter of the gold ring.  Tie a knot with the end of the gold cord to create a loop you can hang your ornament with. 

Do you see those pre-printed cardstock double circles included in the kit?  Pop out one of those from the pre-die-cut sheet and slide one side under the gold cord, add Stampin' Dimensionals, and then fold over the other half to sandwich the gold cord in between.  Then all you need to do is decorate the front as directed in the instructions, or however you like!

Here is one of the Christmas ornament designs with pretty pre-printed banner and foliage layers, mini pinecones, and a cluster of red berries...

The layers of cardstock die-cuts are added to the front of the ornament with the included Stampin' Dimensionals.  I have used Mini Glue Dots to add the pinecones and berries, which works fine if the ornaments aren't handled too much.  If there is a lot of handling, then it is recommended that these elements are adhered to the ornament with a hot glue gun.

These two ornaments use the larger 10 cm (4") gold rings.  But my favourite is the smaller ornament, which uses the 7.5 cm (3") gold ring...
