Last week I held my Mini Catalogue Launch Party, celebrating the amazing September-December 2024 Mini Catalogue and all the fabulous new products inside!  Every new catalogue launch event is a little different. Still, they all have some things in common like seeing these new products in person and creating with them, sharing inspirational project ideas, and discovering hidden gems.

At parties, you need party games with prizes.  The scavenger-hunt-like games we played were a lot of fun and there were some enthusiastic and determined participants!  These are the spot prizes and game prizes that I gave away. They are 6" x 6" samples of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, some pretty Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments wrapped with the elegant Shaded Spruce 1/2" Satin & Sheer Ribbon...

There was another, bigger prize, which was coveted by all!  Everyone who RSVP'ed and attended the Mini Catalogue Launch Party had their name placed in the draw for this prize.  Those who placed an order at the event had their name added again.  At the end of the party, I drew a name and they received the adorable Sweetest Star stamp set and Take a Bow Designer Series Paper bound together with a long length of the stunning Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4" Satin Ribbon.

Everyone who attended the Mini Catalogue Launch Party received a small gift I created for them.  These sweet little treats were created using the Book Treat Boxes (found on page 27 of the mini catalogue) and then decorated using the oh-so-fun Humble Home Bundle...

Humble Home Stamp Set + Humble Home Builder Punch Bundle (photopolymer: 164094) - $83.50

I constructed the Book Treat Box (which is very simple to create and comes with the adhesive already stuck) and then added yummy chocolate inside.  I adhered a pretty die-cut circle on the front of the treat box using the Spotlight on Nature dies and Take A Bow Designer Series Paper.  At this point, you could remove the backing from the double-sided tape on the closing tab, but I wanted my guests to be able to open and reuse this treat box so I created a reusable closure with a ribbon bow.  I wrapped the Book Treat Box with Summer Splash Ribbon and secured it by adding a couple of Mini Glue Dots across the top of the tab.  Lastly, I added that cute gingerbread house on top of the ribbon, only adhering it to the tab closure.

I have created this sweet gingerbread house before for my Christmas Voucher Card.  I heat embossed the house image from the Humble Home stamp set with White Embossing Powder onto Pecan Pie cardstock, then punched it out with the coordinating Humble Home Builder Punch.  A Red & White Peppermint added to the door makes this extra cute!

I loved playing with the Humble Home Bundle to create these gifts, so I didn't stop there!  I also made a themed name tag that I wore for the Mini Catalogue Launch Party.  I spelled my name out using the versatile Mini Alphabet Dies.  To get that lovely, 3-D effect, I die-cut the letters twice from Summer Splash cardstock and used Adhesive Sheets to adhere them together.  I then applied Summer Splash ink along the bottom edge of each letter using a Small Blending Brush to give them a soft, graduated colour.

Alongside all the fun and frivolity at the Mini Catalogue Launch Party, everyone created two festive projects.  Check back next week to see what we made.
