This month we welcomed the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue and, with it, five beautiful new colours. These five contemporary colours will be around for two years and add a modern twist to our colour collections. We have already seen the fabulous Petunia Pop in a past post, so here I will share my thoughts on another of the 2024-2026 In Colors... PEACH PIE.
The colour wheel on page 132 of the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue is a great place to start when comparing colours. Peach Pie is in the Orange category and is flanked by Pumpkin Pie and Copper Clay...
Peach Pie is a yellow-orange that is mellow and reminiscent of summer apricots. This colour is a pretty orange like Pumpkin Pie, but less saturated, and you can see the softer yellow tones in Peach Pie when you compare it to the red-based Copper Clay tones. I have taken the stunning colour palette from one of the patterned papers from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper pack to create this beautiful wedding card. It pairs Peach Pie with Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, and Pretty in Pink...

I used the stunning Peach Pie-based patterned paper as the background for the front of this wedding card and enhanced it with layers of flowers and foliage in coordinating colours. The first layer is a tall branch die-cut from Peach Pie Glimmer Specialty Paper. This gives this special card a bit of sparkle and wow! Over that I have added layers of small white die-cut flowers, the stamped words, and finally some pink stamped and die-cut blooms, pulling out the pink hues from the patterned paper.
Some of the most keen reading this may recognise this fun-fold card design and layout. This beautiful wedding card was modelled off the Perennial Lavender Divider Screen Card, which I shared a while ago.
This divider screen card-style is 28 cm (11") wide when it is fully open and I had four 7 cm (2-3/4") panels that I could decorate and make this wedding card extra special. I used the beautiful words from the Unbounded Love Bundle to add "Celebrate" and "have a blessed day" in Petunia Pop ink. I also enhanced the Peach Pie patterned paper on the third panel by stamping the word, "Love" in Peach Pie ink, along with flowers from the Flowers of Beauty Bundle.
I love all the five new In Colors, but Peach Pie holds a special place on my crafting table. It is my favourite new colour and I unexpectedly love pairing it with pinks, as I have on this wedding card.
