Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (162546) - $26.25
12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs

To create this card, the Sweet Sorbet cardstock and Bee Mine Designer Series Paper layers were cut at 11.8 cm x 8 cm (4-5/8" x 3-1/8") and 11.4 cm x 7.6 cm (4-1/2" x 3"), respectively.  I chose the honey jars patterned paper because I wanted to use the "you're as sweet as honey" sentiment on the front!  The two layers were added to the front of a Basic White Note Card and a 2-3/8" circle punched from Basic White cardstock was added on top with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The words were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto a 9 cm x 1.2 cm (9" x 1/2") piece of Petal Pink cardstock and added to the punched circle.

Then, the pièce de résistance - the cute little bee!  The body and face were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento and Daffodil Delight inks onto Basic White cardstock and punched out with the Bee Builder PunchThe outline of the wings was stamped in Petal Pink ink and the solid inner of the wings was also stamped in Petal Pink ink, but stamped off first.  Stamping off just means that you ink your stamp and then stamp it onto scrap paper before you stamp it onto your project.  This will give you the same ink tone, but lighter.  The wings were punched out with the large heart shape from the Bee Builder Punch.  The antenna was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then punched out with the small heart shape from the Bee Builder Punch.  A little dot of Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the base of the wings and antenna and - voilà!  A cute little bee to add to the front of this Valentine's Day card.
