On Friday was the Mini Catalogue Launch Party, celebrating the release of the gorgeous, new January-April 2024 Mini Catalogue - my favourite catalogue of the year!  Part of this fun event is sharing all the fabulous, new products that have just arrived, and part of the event is getting the chance to play with those products.  This post is all about the sharing - the displays, the giveaways, and the gifts.  Over the next week or so, I'll tell you about the projects that we created at the Mini Catalogue Launch Party when we all had a play.

Here are some beauty shots of the display I had set up for the event.  Although the products are well represented in the mini catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure, nothing beats seeing them in real life, especially the stunning new Designer Series Paper packs.

A party is not a party without games and prizes!  Some were very competitive, but we had a lot of laughs playing games.  Here are the prizes I gave away to the lucky winners... samples of Perennial Lavender 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, some coordinating Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, all wrapped up with Lost Lagoon 1/4" Bordered Ribbon.

And then there was the BIG prize draw!  Everyone who attended had multiple opportunities to get their name into the draw for the beautiful Bee My Valentine stamp set, a pack of Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, wrapped with a long length of coordinating Sweet Sorbet 1/2" Bordered Ribbon.

One of the things I enjoy about a Mini Catalogue Launch Party is creating small gifts for all the attendees.  For this event, I decorated these fun lollipops using the Bee My Valentine Bundle...

To create these, I first punched a 2-3/8" circle from Basic White cardstock, stamped the words in Sweet Sorbet ink, stamped the trail in Tahitian Tide ink, and then adhered the circle to the front of the lollipop using Mini Glue Dots.  I then stamped the bee in Daffodil Delight and Tuxedo Black inks, the wings in Tahitian Tide ink, and punched the pieces out.  Don't forget to give this cutie some rosy cheeks with the Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Write Marker!  After I assembled the bee, I added it to the circle with Stampin' Dimensionals and finished the lollipop with a Sweet Sorbet ribbon bow tied to the lollipop stick.
