The two-coloured floral stamping on the front of these lovely note cards was achieved by inking the stamps with the Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Write Markers, instead of a stamp pad.  Stampin' Write Markers are water-based and are perfect for using with your stamps (not to be mistaken for Stampin' Blends, which are alcohol-based and should not be used in this way).  It's a fun and simple technique that brings a little wow-factor to your projects.

Here's a tip... when you colour your stamps with the brush-tip end of the Stampin' Write Marker, apply the ink with the side of the nib.  That way you preserve the tip for when you need it for finer details.
