Here is another of the new 2023-2025 In Colors colours that have been added to the Stampin' Up! palette... COPPER CLAY - a rich earthy mid-brown with coppery-orange undertones.  Take a look at how this new hue compares with some of our familiar core colours...

The colour palette of this tall slimline card is all new colours!  I have used Copper Clay as the base and added the gorgeous, returning Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat, another new In Color, with touches of the new Lemon Lolly from the Fresh As a Daisy Designer Series Paper.

The lovely cluster of three daisies on the front of this slimline card is a single die-cut!  I cut it out of Copper Clay cardstock and then also die-cut the three intricate overlays in Basic White cardstock.  Before adhering the overlays to the cluster of flowers, I used a Sponge Dauber to apply Wild Wheat ink to create sunny flower centres.  This card was then finished with the silky Copper Clay 3/8" Textured Ribbon.  But, "Kristine that ribbon is thinner than the textured ribbon in the new annual catalogue", you say.  Well, I cut along the ribbon, halving the width before wrapping it around the card front and tying a loopy bow.

Slimline cards are so easy to create and they are impressive to give!  Just cut your A4 cardstock in half, then fold that in half... but not the usual direction for a standard card, try turning it 90-degrees and folding it that way.  Have fun!
