ANZAC Day | least we forget... we will remember them

Today our nation pauses for ANZAC Day, the anniversary of the landing of New Zealand and Australian troops (known as the ANZACs) on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey in 1915.  The poppy is a symbol that is associated with this day and it reminds us of those servicemen and women who lost their lives or have suffered in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.  We will remember them.

ANZAC Day | least we forget... we will remember them

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

For the Fallen/Ode of Remembrance (Laurence Binyon)
