We recently held the first of three Hamilton Extravaganzas for this year, which featured some of the fun products from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalogue.  For the project that Fiona and I taught, we used the graceful Sea Turtle stamp set and a lovely colour palette of Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and Petal Pink.

Sea Turtle Stamp Set (160500) - $45.00

Sea Turtle is a Reversibles Stamp Set, which includes specialised photopolymer stamps that allow you to stamp with both sides of the stamp for more versatility.  So, for example, the large turtle stamp was mounted onto a clear block and stamped with Old Olive ink.  I then cleaned the stamp, flipped it over so that the detailed edge of the stamp is stuck to the clear block, then inked and stamped again!  For the second, solid stamp, I actually stamped off ink onto scrap paper first so that it stamped on the card with a lighter ink colour.

I used the reverse side of both the coral and starfish on the card front too!

Then inside this birthday card, there is a popup diorama featuring some of the same stamps from the front, plus the sweet little turtle and some seaweed.

How fun is this popup diorama birthday card!

The diorama opening was die-cut using the Layering Diorama Dies, which is one of the products that is retiring when the current annual catalogue finishes on 1 May, along with the Mint Macaron colour products and the Seashell 3D Embossing Folder.  In fact, that embossing folder has already sold out!  Be sure to get your favourite products from the Last Chance Products Sale as they are only available while supplies last.
