I've been playing with the adorable Love Cats stamp set again and created this fun pull-up treat wrap that makes a lovely gift for Valentine's Day or any other occasion.

Love Cats Stamp Set (cling: 160410) - $45.00

I have to admit, when I first looked at the Love Cats stamp set, all I could see were black cats.  And then, when I was stamping with a friend, she opened my eyes to all the possibilities... cats come in all sorts of colours!  So this beautiful calico cat was born.

The Stamparatus and the new Small Blending Brushes are your best friends when creating this multi-coloured cat.  I began by mounting the stamp onto the Stamparatus and then stamped it onto Basic White cardstock in So Saffron ink.  I then applied Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink to the rubber stamp using the Small Blending Brushes and stamped the cat again.  I repeated this until I was happy with the layers of calico colours.  Lastly, I inked the eyes and heart on the rubber stamp with an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker and stamped the cat one last time.

After stamping "head over heels about you" under the cat in Real Red ink, I added this panel to the front of a fun treat wrap.  And, in a play on words, inside is a Kit Kat... ha ha cat!  Just pull up on the ribbon at the top and...

How cute is that!  I am loving playing with the Love Cats stamp set and can't wait until Valentine's Day to gift this to a loved one.
