I was challenged by a comment from a friend to create a masculine Christmas card and the result is this fun fold card using neutral colours and the stunning Lights Aglow Suite...

The front of this card features the beautiful Christmas tree from the Christmas Lights stamp set.  I stamped it on Shimmery White cardstock in VersaMark ink and then heat-set White Embossing Powder.  This is when the magic happens... I poured some Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Mint Macaron ink onto a palette, added some water, and then brushed stripes of each colour across the embossed Christmas tree.  The stunning result is the embossed Christmas tree appearing through the gorgeous watercolour wash of greens.

But the wow factor of this Christmas card doesn't stop there.  This is a twisted gate-fold card and, when you untie the bow on the side, it opens like this... and as you can see, I have carried the lovely watercolour wash technique through to the inside of the card too.

This Twisted Gate-Fold Christmas card started out with a masculine design in mind, but it is such a great card for anyone of any age!
