Fitting Florets Jumbo-Sized Thank You Card

Do you need a large card for everyone in the workplace or a volunteer group to sign for an end-of-year function?  Here are two simple layouts that are fun to create and can be adapted for any occasion...

Fitting Florets Jumbo-Sized Thank You Card

Stamps: Biggest Wish (photopolymer: 155052).  Ink: Night of Navy (147110).  Card/Paper: Evening Evergreen (155575), Vellum (106584), Basic White Thick (159230), Basic White (159228), Fitting Florets 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (161814).  Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), Framed Florets Dies (160623), Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (149643), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

The photo of this thank you card may look like a standard-sized greeting card, but I can assure you, it is jumbo-sized!  The cardstock base is a whole sheet of Basic White Thick A4 cardstock: 29.6 cm x 21 cm (11-1/2" x 8-1/4"), scored at 14.8 cm (5-1/4"), then folded in half.  Because of this card's size, I reached for the Biggest Wish stamp set for the large words and the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper for instant pattern and colour.

Fitting Florets 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (161814) - $25.25
12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs

The background of this card was embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, which I needed to emboss in two passes to cover the entire card front!  I then cut the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper into six 5 cm (2") squares and added them to the card front in a 2 x 3 grid.  The words were stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Basic White cardstock and then die-cut with a stitched circle die.  A larger stitched circle was die-cut from Vellum to mat underneath the words.  Lastly, I cut branches and leaves from Evening Evergreen cardstock using the Framed Florets Dies and tucked them between the layers.

Fitting Florets Jumbo-Sized Thank You Card

This second card has similar elements to the first but with a slightly different layout.

Fitting Florets Jumbo-Sized Thank You Card

Stamps: Biggest Wish (photopolymer: 155052).  Ink: Evening Evergreen (155576).  Card/Paper: Vellum (106584), Basic White Thick (159230), Basic White (159228), Fitting Florets 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (161814).  Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Stylish Shapes Dies (159183), Framed Florets Dies (160623), Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (149643), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

This card also has an embossed background using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I then cut and adhered three patterned paper panels that measured 5 cm x 17 cm (2" x 6-1/2"), 5 cm x 11 cm (2" x 4-1/4"), and 5 cm x 5 cm (2" x 2").  The words were stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut out using a stitched banner die.  The same-sized stitched banner was die-cut from Vellum for layering underneath.  Lastly, I cut a branch from Basic White cardstock using the Framed Florets Dies and added it across the top-left corner of the patterned paper.

Fitting Florets Jumbo-Sized Thank You Card

As these jumbo-sized thank you cards could not fit into a standard C6 envelope, I also created coordinating cardstock sleeves for them to be slid into once everyone in the group had signed the cards.
