Stuck for ideas? Feeling a little uninspired? Have I got a tip for you! When my creativity has taken a hiatus, I turn to the inspiring project ideas in our lovely Stampin' Up! catalogues. I either take bits and pieces of ideas to create a card or do what I did for this project and recreate it in full.
I had so much fun recreating this card from page 24 of the mini catalogue and it filled my creativity tank when I wasn't feeling very creative.
Bundles: Leaves of Holly Stamp Set + Holly Berry Dies (photopolymer: 159608). Ink: Evening Evergreen (155576), Soft Succulent (155778), Sahara Sand (147117). Card/Paper: Soft Suede (119982), Basic White (159228), Basic White Thick (159230), Boughs of Holly 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (159600). Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (158130), Baker's Twine Essentials Pack (155475). Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (1100755), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108).
I began by pulling out all the products in the Boughs of Holly Suite and found the fabulous birch-patterned paper in the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and cut it down to a 10 cm or 4" square for this card front. Onto that, I added all the festive stamped and die-cut imagery from the Leaves of Holly Bundle. I didn't have the Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins that the original sample showed, so I substituted that bling for Iridescent Rhinestones.
