I have created another project using the easy-to-assemble Scalloped Kraft Treat Boxes.  This time, instead of a Christmas Treat Box, I have created a spring-themed box to gift to someone to say thank you.

I began by wrapping the Scalloped Kraft Treat Box with a 5 cm or 2" strip of one of the gorgeous patterned papers from the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper pack.  This 12" x 12" patterned paper pack is so versatile and includes a massive 48 sheets!  For a bit of fun, I upgraded the gingham design on this patterned paper to make it a tartan by adding more hand-drawn lines.

I used the Cottage Wreath stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths Dies to stamp and die-cut a wreath for this gift box.  Wreath imagery is often relegated to the Christmas pile but they can be used all year round, like this spring-inspired one.  To the wreath, I added a beautiful gold foil bow, die-cut leaves, and a scattering of flowers.  Lastly, I finished the flowers off by adding dots of white Pearlized Enamel Effects to the middle.  The Pearlized Enamel Effects pack includes three bottles of lacquer (red, black, and white) and they are great for adding a pearlescent shimmer to your projects, whether you add small details like the centre of these flowers or brushing a thin, shiny layer on your project. 

It's the little details like altering the designer paper and adding the pearlescent dots to the flowers that can take a project from great to wow!
