This Father's Day gift box was inspired by the Black & White Designer Series Paper in the mini catalogue.  One side of the paper has bold graphic designs in black and white and the alternative side in black and gray, which made me think of a classic black-tie event.  So, I leaned into this elegance and paired this patterned paper with a leather-look tag, gold ribbon, and gold accents.

This tag was die-cut using the Tailor Made Tags Dies from Kraft Paper and then I used a Blending Brush to apply Soft Suede ink to the edge to give it a worn leather-look.  I then used the Charming Sentiments Bundle to gold-emboss the words and closely die-cut them to add to the tag.  The fun little stamped stars are from the Alphabest stamp set and the die-cut Distressed Gold star is from the Charming Sentiments Bundle.

This box design was inspired by Katja Ettig.  I love all the interesting angles and fun final shape of this gift box.  And the best part is that there is no adhesive!  Remove the ribbon closure...
