The 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue was recently released with five new colours to add to the Stampin' Up! colour palette.  One of the five colours is... PARAKEET PARTY - a bright lime-green that has a fresh, energising feel.  Take a look at how this new hue compares with some of our familiar core colours.

I used the brilliant Parakeet Party for one of the make-and-takes at the recent Annual Catalogue Launch Party.  In fact, I used three of the five new In Colors for this fun birthday card: Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet, and Tahitian Tide.  We had fun playing with the Sweet Songbirds Bundle and the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes to create this cute greeting card...

20 card bases and 20 envelopes: four each of five designs

The Parakeet Party striped card base is one of the fun patterned cards in the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes.  I added to the card front a die-cut stitched circle with the branch stamped in Early Espresso ink, leaves in Parakeet Party ink, and flowers in Sweet Sorbet ink.  I then popped the pretty bird stamped in Tahitian Tide ink onto the branch.

Here is the same card, but with two of the other card designs from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes.  This one is Sweet Sorbet with a floral pattern...

... and this one is a Tahitian Tide spotted design.

These new In Colors are so much fun!  I especially love the bright, clean feel of Parakeet Party.
