It was fun to create this personalised newspaper to feature on the front of this birthday card.  I began with stamping the newspaper outline in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock.  I then chose the title and headline to fit the occasion and stamped them in the reserved spaces in Orchid Oasis ink.  To finish, I added a "photograph" to the front page by stamping the cake and colouring it with Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

The front of the card is cut short and a piece of the glamorous Orchid Oasis Glimmer Paper shows from the inside edge of the card.  I love the ombre finish that this specialty paper has and the sparkle it brings to this fun birthday card.
