The release of the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue marks the introduction of five fresh, on-trend colours to add to the Stampin' Up! palette. These are called the In Colors and they stay with us for two years. I want to introduce you to one of the five new 2022-2024 In Colors... ORCHID OASIS - a deep periwinkle that has a lovely violet-blue tone. Take a look at how this new hue compares with some of our familiar core colours...
I have combined this new lavender-blue with Fresh Freesia and Garden Green to create this pretty Reverse Easel Card using the gorgeous, new Cup of Tea Bundle and Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper...

Here's a fun fact... the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper actually incorporates all five of the new 2022-2024 In Colors throughout the patterned papers. I chose the pretty teapot design that incorporates Orchid Oasis and Fresh Freesia to set the theme of my card. I then used the Water Painters to add a wash of the two purples over Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper for die-cutting the teacups, hearts, and flowers for the card front.
Here's a tip... add a piece of Adhesive Sheet behind your cardstock before die-cutting the intricate teacup overlay. It makes it so easy to apply!
I finished this elegant friendship card with a fun die-cut tag tied to the teacup handle and a scattering of Opal Rounds, which pick up those lovely purple hues.
I am loving the Orchid Oasis and Fresh Freesia colour combination a lot! I can see myself using these colours together again.
