So, it seems you can create Valentine's Day greeting cards with a string of hearts, an explosion of hearts, and cute otters. But what about robots?!? Check out this sweet robot Valentine's Day card that was inspired by the Nuts & Bolts stamp set from the mini catalogue and Ann Alexander.

Nuts & Bolts Stamp Set (cling: 157650) - $45.00
The background of my Valentine's Day card uses wide strips of Subtles Designer Series Paper in Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, and Pool Party.
Unfortunately, the Nuts & Bolts stamp set doesn't have a set of coordinating dies, so this card has a lot of stamping and cutting. However, they are simple shapes that are easy to fussy-cut out. Take the words for example. I stamped them onto Basic White cardstock and then quickly trimmed around them. Just straight cuts without any care for even shapes. The hearts were stamped onto the same designer paper as the background and the squared corners of these heart shapes made them easy to cut. The robot, however, took a little patience, but I love, love, love the outcome.
I love the colours and the quirky robot on this card and, out of all the Valentine cards and gifts I have created this year, this one may have stolen my heart. BEEP!
