Creating this card took a bit of time, a lot of patience, and is not one for the faint-hearted.  The easy part was the backdrop for the cute otter.  I sponged the background in Blushing Bride ink with a Blending Brush and then stamped over one of the heart trios from the Sweet Conversations Bundle.  I mounted this onto Basic Gray cardstock over the pretty Blushing Bride Simply Marbelous Designer Series Paper.

The vision for the otter from the Awesome Otters stamp set was that I wanted to remove the fish from his hands and instead he holds a heart.  I started by masking the fish on the stamp, inking, removing the mask, and then stamping the image onto Basic White cardstock.  This I coloured with Stampin' Blends and fussy-cut out.  I repeated the masking and stamped the same image onto a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock.  I then used the hearts die from the Sweet Conversations Bundle to die-cut out the otter's hands and... voila!  It sounds like an easy enough process, but I did have a few goes at it to get the best-stamped image.
